| Hi Gang! I apologize
for not making a new column sooner. Things have been going well for me as of late. Been
pretty busy as of late. So let me tell you a little about it. I went to Summerslam in
Raleigh , N.C. where I met some great fans who traveled far for the event as well as
getting a chance to see some old friends. It was good seeing some of my old friends that I
wrestled with (WCW,overseas, indies, etc) as well making new friends with the company. Just
wanted to say thanks to the WWF and say they had a excellent show. I had a chance to bump
into so old WCW comrades in Roanoke,Virginia. It was so funny that everyone had to do a
doubletake to even recognize me with my new look..lol. But nevertheless, it is nice to be
remembered.Thanks guys.
Wrestling in the independents has been a blast. Had a wild
and crazy match with Demolition Ax in Hardeeville, SC. He still looks as big and as
menacing as ever. During my stay in Hardeeville, I got a chance to meet an old friend of
mine , Stan Lane (of Midnight Express fame). Stan still looks as fit as ever. Be watching
for more broadcasting from him on ESPN. I had a crazy weekend this past one. I first
wrestled up in Columbus, Ohio Friday night. The promoter for Real American Wrestling up
there and the staff really treated me well as well as the great fans in attendance. I had
the chance to meet an old sparring buddy from the shootwrestling days Dan"The
Beast" Severn. He is still as tough as ever. Sharkboy (former WCW star) was there
too. Got to see some great up and coming young talent compete. Then I flew out real early
in the morning back to NC to wrestle at the "X-Fest" all day concert in
Greenville N.C. The venue had an estimated 9000 people or more. I had teamed up with local
radio DJ 99X's Tommy Collins to take on two former students of mine, Sevar The Bounty
Hunter and Mr. Skrubb. Not only was it a crazy match, but we all were ducking and dodging
bottles and other debris that the massive (and quite a few drunk I might add) crowd were
throwing. All in all, the match was great and I just wanted to say that I am proud of my
students . They have come a long way, have loads of talent, and will go far.
It was so cool to chat with Madonna in her AOL chat session
promoting her new album "Music" last week. I have been a Madonna fan for a long
time. She was very nice and very humorous to say the least. My webmaster/girlfriend
Bizzybunny gives her best to everyone. Her, my webhost WebKat, and all of the stro.com
staff are doing a fantastic job. Be looking out for Bunny's new website Bizzybunny.com on
the net in the near future. As creative and as outrageous as Bunny is, it is a must see
for sure!
Will be jazzing up my website www.thestro.com very soon. So
expect a few changes in the upcoming weeks on the site..including a brand new chatroom.
The Stro.com merchandise has been doing well. If you are interested in purchasing any Stro
stuff, stop by the site and go to the merchandise section to see more! Get your friend or
loved one some Stro merchandise for Christmas this year!
I am still in negotiations back and forth with the big three
wrestling companies. It has been kinda of a slow process due to different issues with the
respected companies and all. But nothing is ruled out yet for any of them. So as I like to
say " Never say never" in the wrestling industry. I might just surprise ya!
Well I am off to start another fun filled day. You all feel
free to stay in touch. Be good to one another. Take care and GOD bless!
